a progressive motorcycle enthusiast organization
Something or someone brought you to World of Soul Motorcycle Community. It may have been an email invite from a friend, a post on Twitter, Facebook or even Myspace. It could have been from a business card a member gave you that they themselves received of the table at an event, or from a friend who received a bunch of them with their patch and/or t-shirt order or even me personally. The greatest among the many ways riders were invited is by word of mouth via peer to peer, mentions at events, club meetings and other functions.
Do you remember the first time you visited World of Soul Motorcycle Community and decided to join? How were you greeted by other members? How did that make you feel?
Here is what some members wrote;
"Thanks for the Soul Love Welcome that I've gotten since I've join the World of Soul Family haven't heard nothing but good things."
-Wendel E. Lizama, Jr., Independent Rider, Austin, Texas
"I've been on many websites, but I have to say, for bikers, or hell for brothers and sisters in general, I have never seen more "love". Hat's off to who ever is responsible for it's creation!"
Carlton Hall, H.O.G. Member, Germantown, MD
"Over 3,000 and climbing...That's great.. and the word is just now getting out there! Love the site bro!"
-WhoDat, Soul Ryderz, Dallas, Texas
The welcome committee was always there - 7, 8, 9, 10 strong to let the new member know that we are a family.
Our community was built out of the love of motorcycling and each other, the spirit to move us to improve us and those around us.
Many of us met, road and bonded with each other. We've experienced joy and happiness together and even shared the sorrow and pain of lost riders and shared friends. We've had serious dialogue about real challenges in the motorcycle community and made plans to overcome them. We've expressed our discontent with the industry and made strives to establish relationships to draw closer with promotions and events that add value to everyone's bottom line. "Have some fun - do some good".
Being back online with the World of Soul Motorcycle Community network is a testament to the fact that despite our challenges we will always find ways to move forward. The proof is the progress we are having in local communities with initiatives like Riders United to Serve Humanity.
Where we are going - Nobody can do this for us. Only we can. Show some love, get some love....and Invite a Friend.
Welcome them into our family.
