Why does that look so familiar.......was that the Ed Sullivan Show? Just seems like I remember seeing back when it was on TV. Great memories!

I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert in Norfolk, Virginia. Michael was the greatest I have ever seen. And we grew up together, what I am saying he was one year older than me.

Who'd -a- thunk it? One day after Michaels burial I would have (minor) day surgery and have to be given PROPOFOL (the infamous "diprovan") !! That was 9 hours ago and I am still woosy. I was not allowed to drive myself home. Not allowed to drive tomorrow (I miss you bikey). I was joking with the anesthesiologist about being given this. Clarifying that he had "already gone to the restroom"! He explained that Mike's doc was a Cardiologist, not Anesthesiologist. He said they make people stop and start breathing all the time, it's part of the job, BUT they have the proper equipment to increase respiration as necessary. Mike's situation never should have happened.
Well, I was given "the drip" and as I was being wheeled into the operating room, I felt speech slurring. When I woke up it was about an hour later! Surgery over! No pain, just mellow. I thought about Mike's situation alot. How sad....how deep his situation must have been to need a drug that powerful to get rest. To think of his tolerance level that only this strong drug could put him out. I feel so sorry for this man's life that it came to that. It should happen to no one. Especially someone who brought the world so much happiness!
And yes, I rocked my Michael Jackson T-Shirt to surgery today! Gotta represent!
Rest in peace now Mike,
Rest in peace.
