I recently bought a M109.  Wrecked twice.  The second time i hydroplaned on 2 inches of standing water on my way to Franklin, KY.  The bike threw me and I hit head first in the road and my bike…Continue

August 16, 2012  I went down after a car kicked up a tired tread at me that Caught my bike.  Came off my 2s on 495 in slide and I was rolling...all I heard was the tractor trailer behind me tryna brake I rolled I was thinking when he runs me over thats gonna really hurt... When I stopped rolling and managed to get up I realized the truck held back 2 lanes of traffic from hitting me...I got up and went to my bike not realizing i was bleeding or in was rashed up...but I had a broken shoulder, crushed knee , traumatic ankle and foot injuries....while I am almost healed up...never was a doubt I was getting back on my 2s...Im just glad I cant remember coming of the bike...the only thing I learned that day was the roads are real hazzardous and if I had of been going faster the liklihood that tread would have killed me on impact was greater...Just like a hard headed biker chick... I already had my post accident ride on the back roads...It felt good twisting the throttle...I cant wait til the doctors officially clear me so I can really ride...

Look out folks! If your looking to book some rooms in Ennis for a great price. I'm your connection. I have search the internet for rooms around Ennis. I found rooms in Corisicana for $199 per night. So I know my rooms is the hottest deal around. These rooms prices is subject to change. I'm running low on rooms. I got 16 rooms left. I just sold 12 rooms in past week. Don't waste anymore time thinking, lets do it!

Been there done that! Near death, thought I'd never ride again, what I did instead was never ride like I used to again. I've taken all my sport bike, stunt skills, near death accidents and applied them to my list of things not to do while I'm cruising. I've got metal parts inside me, but hell, I don't care, y'all can't see them! A fake biker will drop their bike in the garage and sell it and never ride again, and a real biker will hop on a bike on the way home from the hospital after having a motorcycle accident.

I am still not sure what I got into... it was in October ... there was some rain ... more of a spit .. I had two riders behind me and they weren't keeping up - so I knew I would have to stop at the light before making the right hand turn. I was slowing... and I braked... then the bike kicked left, kicked right and then just threw me over on the left.  I rode that sucker down... no hands out to save me, just found myself in the riding position on my left side - down. I banged my head (encased in my helmet thankfully) but thankfully my gear and my bike protected me. Crash bars kept me from cracking any bones - this time.

I spun out of my bike to a sitting position - with help - I got her up. some Cages were PISSY we took so long.. but not a DAMN one of them got out of their cars to help.  I finally got going and went to a gas station - only to hear a car spin out right where I went down - he was in a hurry because we delayed him.

so I feel a bit better knowing something was on the road - just not sure what i should have done to have avoided this one.

My bike had no damage - and I rode the rest of the day - albeit with a bit of a headache and some butterflies in my stomach.

Decided to join this group, I haven't been down in years, (Thank God), but I've been there and am blessed to still be here. I've had friends who have been down, some gave up riding, some still ride, and some are no longer with us. Riding is in my blood, not just a hobby, so I plan to ride until I can't anymore.

I always wondered what I wold do after an accident. Late July I found out. I was living in Chicago IL and working in Aurora. My bike had been down being repaired and painted for most of the summer so I was excited to get it back. On a Wed. at 8:30 am I picked up my bike. It felt great to ride and I was excited about the new paint job. On Thursday I rode to work and decided to stop and get a coffee 3 blocks from the job. I bought the coffee a a few small things and went to the bike. Stupid me tied the bag to the mirror thinking it will be okay since it was just a couple bikes. The bike was facing out so I got on and pulled the clutch in...unfortunately as I started off the bag came back onto my hand and I couldn't release the clutch. As I jerked that hand I throttled up and went straight into a 4' tall wall that was in front of the gas pump (Thank you Jesus). I remember thinking JUMP JUMP and thought I did until a guy helping me told me I didn't. I flew over the bike, flipped and hit the gas pump before I hit the ground. Thank God I had on my Helmet and gear or it could have been worst. I was blessed to not have broken anything and I stayed with my bike and called the painter (looking forward to the roundup) and then the tow truck. The painter noticed that my call came in at 8:40 which means I only had it for 24 hours. Only lasting issue I have, that is controlled by medication is vertigo. I was back up and rolling in time for the Roundup and after the first couple miles I was able to relax and enjoy the ride.

Lesson: Stupidity happens to all of us at one time or another in our lives. Just don't make the same mistake twice.
