Happy to report that my RG took me from MD to LA and all around that area and back.

4 days out 4 days return 6K miles 11 states 13 days!! Rocking that RG sitting back.

What you do all think about the RG front brake does it grip to slide to easy. Non of my other bikes griped so easy. Even the road kings and other touring bikes do not grip as easy. OTher RG person told he his grips to easy and trow him off some. Then I read on line that others have had the same problme just on the RG. What do you all think about RG brakes from 2009 and back?

The Glide is back together and running better than ever, sporting a 107 with headwork, bottom end redone, and gear drive cams.

Well my RG is in pieces and in different parts of the country having a little work done, I can't wait to get it all back together, missing some really good riding weather.

You would be amazed at the difference a cam will make, add 20hp easily with the right cam, and more torque when you need it. To get rid of the heat you need to get rid of the CAT, that will make a HUGE difference in the amount of heat you feel.

I actually considered the cam when I got the bike, and spoke to several about it, mechanics and others who had done it already.  I came to conclusion, for now anyhow, that for my riding conditions in the DMV (summer heat and heavy traffic, etc), I'll leave it as is, and beleive me with the few performance mods I made already, as-is ain't bad at all!

Add a cam to that 103 and you'll like it a lot better.

I love the 103 power, big difference from my '06 Road King.  Just got in some Electropods, waiting on a snow-day to hook'em up.  Small steps for now - looking at some small accessory changes, then audio.  Been lovin' the sound of these Rush true duals though, so not listening to much music!

The RG is a bike that grows on you real fast, and now they are becoming more popular than ever. I'm starting mods on mine now, going to do the engine, audio, and some cosmetics plus lighting. I go to a few of the forums to share ideas and find out what else is availible.
