I totally agree with you. I think the M/C or the biking family in general should treat each other like family. We need to travel elsewhere and not always expecting someone to always come to us.
I do realize times are hard and some of us can't alway take time off from our jobs. I look forward to when I can just get out and ride and don't have no set destination or no time limit. I need to hit the lottery real soon.
We as Bikers do need to support each other more. I personally logged almost a thousand miles last weekend to attend four different events....two on Friday and two on Saturday. Like Fresh said, times are hard now, but people can do more than what they are.
i will go to the end for my club. i treat my m/c involvement like others treat their religion. now if my club is at peace with other clubs, then i will go to the end for them. if theres a club beef, then i have no love for you.
I AGREE!!! I GO OUT ON THE SET DAMN NEAR EVERY NIGHT!!! BUT SOME OF THESE CLUBS NEED TO LOOK AT THE CLUBS THAT SUPPORT THEM!!!! BUT THEY DON'T!!! AND IT'S SAD THAT THEY DON'T SHOW THE LOVE BACK!! DERRTY RIDERS M.C "WE ALL WE GOT"
What are the clubs trying to prove? That they are too good to support a smaller club? Or that they feel they are not significant enough (member size) to make an appearance? But then, when [they] throw a function, [they] get mad because no one showed up....support should be reciprocating...and FIRST and FOREMOST its brotherly/sisterly love! We are there not to see who can piss further or who's shoes and purse match! We are there to show love, support and teach! We all need to get over this egotistical, childish, ignorant behavior and start acting like the biker adults that we are! Let's start supporting each others' events whether they supported yours or not...someone has got to break the cycle. It's not 'Who's the bigger man'....it's about setting an example. We are NOT cliques, we are NOT gangs and basically, when it comes down to it, we are NOT clubs....WE ARE FAMILY! Ride as ONE - Luv as ONE!
I am not riding yet but I travel to as many functions in a vehicle as possible. I see this as another way to network and prove people wrong when they say that we won't stick together. It shouldn't matter how big or small the club is, if I hit your event this years than next year I try to hit someone else. Fortunate for me my bike family (I am not officially a member of a club but my family is) has no beef with anyone else so we pride ourselves on showing LOVE TO ALL BECAUSE WE ARE ONE. I hope that we all continue to show love to one another.
We should, but the sad thing is . It won't happen. You know if just one member take a stand and support other clubs maybe another one will follow. I really can't understand why we won't stand together. Society is hard on Bikers.
