One of the things you may have noticed about the people that got involved with the Obama campaign is that they were drawn to the message that we are our brother's keeper. We are a community, and the best way that we can improve things is to realize that as a community we are an extended family. In order to work towards creating that reality, please get involved in your community.

Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering communities across the country to bring about our agenda of change.

In 2008, millions of Americans got involved in the political process — many for the first time — to fight for a new kind of politics and a better future for our country. Those voices enabled a new beginning — a chance to pursue the real world change our country needs. Now it's time for our movement to rise again, stand with President Obama, and make that promise a reality.

There are many ways to get involved:

Joining grassroots OFA campaigns to support the President's agenda. Online, on the phone, on doorsteps and in town halls in communities across the country, we're building the bottom-up support that makes real change possible.

Spreading the word to friends and neighbors about the President's approach on the big issues facing our nation, like health care, energy and education. Nothing is more powerful than your voice in your community.

Serving our community in ways big and small. Rebuilding America starts today.
Connecting with other supporters to form strong local groups, ready to take on whatever challenges we face.

Supporting leaders who share our values and are ready to carry forward the fight for change .
Our task is enormous. To succeed, we'll need all Americans, no matter how they may have voted, to join us in the work ahead. If we set aside the old politics that have kept us apart, there's no limit to what we can achieve.

Together, we can create a sustainable and independent clean energy economy. We can provide all American children the first rate education they deserve. And we can finally guarantee high-quality, affordable health care to every American man, woman and child.

Last November, the American people sent Washington a clear mandate for change. But when the polls close, the true work of citizenship begins. That's what Organizing for America is all about. Now, in this crucial time, our voice once again has extraordinary power. Let's use it.

Watched Face the Nation earlier and the person against it didn't have his facts or numbers together to argue his case. Just kept saying it's not good, it's not good for small business and to get rid of it you have to remove President Obama.

Come on give me the facts and numbers on why it isn't good.

I don't think in history I've ever heard about secret service being in a sex scandal. I'm sure they have had some but KEPT IT A SECRET!! lol!!

Keep praying for the president, my has he aged! Stress, stress trying to turn this country around with so many wanting him to fail.

ps. And they better not try that spraying him again! What was it juice or something someone sat down and someone step on it.

Go to his campaign website: donate money; read "Promises Kept, President Obama's First Two Years in Office"; and, work hard for his reelection in 2012!

There is STILL time for him to pull this out. The Republicans have tried for the past 18 months to do what they have always said they would do: make President Obama a one-term President! Do NOT turn your backs on President Obama, WOS, turn it back on the Republicans! The Republicans want to harm Medicare; they will work to end Social Security; they will end collective bargaining (see Wisconsin); they will give more tax breaks to the rich and super rich and corporations; they will decimate the Welfare System and end Workers' Comp and Unemployment subsidies; they will end abortions; and the list goes on and on! All you have to do is listen to their rhetoric and watch their actions to get mad as hell!

Okay, okay, I am off my rant. Let's not fall for the okey-doke though. Let's be more like Floyd Mayweather...if somebody has the nerve to headbutt us, sucker punch them until the lights go out!! Whoops, did I say that? First rule of boxing: protect yourself at all times...Goodnight Hector...and Larry Merchant too!
