I loged in over 4600miles, stayin in Vegas for six days. I'm editing my video as we speak. I'll go through the pics and have them up by the end of this week. Heck, you may be in one of the shots (LOLZ).

Oh yea the stage was by the race track, but I never figured out how to get to the other side of the track. Yes I spent my time coming out at night couldn't take that heat out there I'm from Cali and our weather is no where near that. Yes this is the 1st Round Up in years near Cali the last one on our end was Fresno in 2001...But what can you say. Not enough venders, need a tent to cool off but sometimes you have to make your own fun. Hope I can make it to Texas.

Comment by Pat on August 18, 2011 at 11:30pm: Hey Family, I'm a little late with my round-up comment, just getting over heat stroke but here it is. I've been to many round ups over the years and I was not impressed with the Las Vegas NV effort. We were in SIN CITY and that should have been a BIG one but it just fizzled out. We made our own party happen. They should have had a Casino tent for gambling on the premises, Showgirls and Bright Lights. I never did find the stage for the shows. I know they could not control the heat = 114, 125 under a full face helmet, so we quickly switched to night outings only. They had the space but it wasn't utilized. Where were all the vendors?? Did the cool off tent every get cool? Come on Vegas, you're giving this side of the US a bad rep. So many people came from Cali for their first Round-up and thought it was just a big Bike Night!

Comment by John Wesley on August 18, 2011 at 9:26am: Sorry for the long response time Dawn T. Beatty-Walker. Sturgis is a BIG rally in Sturgis SD. It's normally the same weekend as the Roundup. This year, (which this happens every 4 yrs.) it was the weekend after the Roundup. There were soooo many bikes, the local 4 wheelers were promted to stay home and away from Sturgis.
